Day 1 Sunday
Once we are all on board we head north. We plan to have a stop prior to arriving at our first overnight which is at the Cairndale Hotel Dumfries,
You will have chance to relax prior to our evening meal.
Day 2 Monday
Following breakfast we depart Dumfries at 9.30am and commence our journey to Logan Botanic Garden. Located on the south-western tip of Scotland, Logan enjoys an almost subtropical climate. The Garden's avenues and borders feature a spectacular and colourful array of half-hardy perennials. The Garden is warmed by the Gulf Stream which enables plants from Australia, New Zealand, South and Central America and Southern Africa to thrive.
We make our way to Cairnryan to meet the 3.30pm ferry, arriving in Belfast at 5.45pm then onto our base for the following three nights the four star 'Stormont Hotel' located just minutes away from Belfast City Centre, adjacent to Stormont Estate overlooking the immaculately maintained wooded landscape. Time to relax following our eving meal.
Day 3 Tuesday
We depart at 9.00am this morning. Today we take the stunning Antrim Coast Road to the Giants Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its unique volcanic pillars and shrouded in folklore & fairy tales.
We return to our hotel with time to relax prior to our evening meal
Day 4 Wednesday
This morning we depart our hotel at 9.30am and make our way to meet our guide who will join us on the coach for the morning. We enjoy a two and a half hour tour of the history & heritage of Belfast. You will then have the opportunity to have a snack before we head to Titanic Belfast where we are booked in at 2.30pm. Titanic Belfast is located beside the Titanic Slipways, the very place where Titanic was designed, built and launched, Titanic Belfast tells the story of Titanic from her conception, through her construction and launch, to her maiden voyage and subsequent place in history. Following our visit we make our way back to our hotel to relax prior to our evening meal.
Day 5 Thursday
We check out & depart this morning at 10am & make our way to meet the 11.30am ferry. We arrive in Cairnryan at 1.45pm where we commence our return journey back to Leeds.
