Sunday 5th April

Following our local departures we make our way to Heysham for the 2:15pm ferry, arriving in Douglas at 6:30pm. We have a short journey to the Empress, then time to check in prior to our evening meal.

Monday

Following breakfast this morning we have a 5 minute journey by coach to meet the electric railway which will take us to Laxey. We then have a fabulous return journey on the Snaefell Mountain Railway to the summit- there are plenty of photo opportunities & a cafe at the top if you fancy a quick cuppa! With a little free time in Laxey to walk up to the Laxey wheel or you will have chance for some lunch before we head on to Ramsey, returning to our hotel via the famous 'mountain' of the TT course.

Tuesday

A Day at leisure to enjoy Douglas or venture further afield if you prefer. We highly recommend a visit to the Manx Museum in Douglas!

Wednesday

We depart at 10am this morning after a hearty breakfast and journey to the Island's southern tip which is one of the most scenic places in the British Isles. The sound is a hotspot for seals sunbathing, the area is also frequented by dolphins and basking sharks, so fingers crossed! We move onto Castletown for a chance to stretch our legs & grab a snack before we head on to Port Erin where we meet the 4.00pm Steam Train for our journey back to Douglas.

Thursday

A continental breakfast will be available from 6.30am this morning as we have an early start to meet the ferry! We check out of our hotel & depart at 7.30am to travel to the ferry port to meet the 8.30am ferry.
Arriving back in Heysham at 12 noon following our crossing we travel back to Leeds, hoping to be back in the local area mid-afternoon.
