Day 1 Monday
Following our local departures, we make our way to Cornwall, with comfort stops en route we hope to arrive at The Portbyhan Hotel with time for you to relax before your evening meal.
Day 2 Tuesday
We have a leisurely departure of 10am this morning and make our way to the Eden Project, a captivating journey into the wonders of nature and sustainability. Set in a former clay pit, the site is home to two vast biomes,the Rainforest Biome, where you can walk among tropical plants, waterfalls, and treetop walkways, and the Mediterranean Biome, filled with olive trees, citrus plants, and warm, fragrant air. Outside, beautifully landscaped gardens showcase native and global plant species, interactive art installations, and seasonal displays. The Eden Project also features educational exhibits on climate change, biodiversity, and green living, alongside cafes serving locally sourced food and eco-friendly shops. Returning to relax prior to our evening meal.
Day 3 Wednesday
We depart our hotel this morning at 10am for an excursion to Plymouth.
Plymouth offers a rich blend of maritime heritage and waterfront attractions. We set down at the historic Barbican, where cobbled streets, old warehouses, and harbourside pubs tell stories of the city's seafaring past. Explore the Mayflower Steps, marking the Pilgrims' 1620 departure.
Wander through Plymouth Hoe for panoramic sea views and see the iconic Smeaton's Tower lighthouse. There are plenty of independent shops & boutiques as well as all your main high street shops to explore, so plenty of opportunity for a lunch stop too! We return to our hotel with time to put your feet up prior to our evening meal.

A day at leisure today to appreciate lovely Looe!
Day 5 Friday
9.30am departure this morning for our excursion to Mevagissey, a picturesque fishing village on Cornwall's south coast, Mevagissey offers a delightful blend of maritime heritage, local cuisine, and scenic beauty. Stroll along the charming quayside, where colourful boats bob in the twin harbours, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of local shops, cafés, and pubs. The Mevagissey Museum, housed in a former boatbuilder's yard, provides fascinating insights into the village's history, from its smuggling past to its fishing industry. For a closer look at local marine life, visit the Mevagissey Aquarium, a charity-run initiative showcasing native species and supporting the harbour's maintenance. We have an earlier return to Looe today, relax or head out for your last afternoon in Looe.....until next time!
Day 6 Saturday
We say a sad goodbye to the wonderful staff at the Portbyhan Hotel this morning to commence our journey back to Leeds.
