Staying at three carefully selected 4 Star hotels, you'll discover some of Cornwall's most treasured attractions before finishing with two relaxing nights in beautiful North Devon.
Your holiday begins with an overnight stay at the Cadbury House Hotel, Bristol, where we'll enjoy dinner, bed and breakfast following a visit of the fascinating SS Great Britain, Brunel's magnificent Victorian steamship.
We continue into Cornwall with a visit to the award-winning Bodmin Jail, where centuries of dramatic history are brought to life, before arriving for a five-night stay at the welcoming Esplanade Hotel, overlooking Fistral beach in Newquay.

During our stay, enjoy a wonderful excursion to the picturesque harbour town of St Ives, famous for its golden beaches, independent shops and artistic heritage.
Discover the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of Britain's most enchanting restored gardens, where a traditional Cornish cream tea is included.
Visit the bustling fishing port of Padstow, with time to explore its charming streets and harbour. We include a visit to the fascinating National Lobster Hatchery, dedicated to protecting Cornwall's native lobster population, also included is a guided tour of the magnificent Prideaux Place, an elegant Elizabethan manor house that has remained in the same family for over 400 years.
We conclude this wonderful break with two nights at the Royal & Fortescue Hotel, Barnstaple, enabling us to visit the fabulous RHS Rosemoor, Linton & Lynmouth and enjoy some free time in beautiful Barnstaple. A perfect base to relax and enjoy the charm of North Devon before returning home.
Saturday 8th May
We depart Leeds and travel south towards Somerset, stopping in Bristol to visit Brunel's magnificent SS Great Britain, the world's first great ocean liner. Step aboard this beautifully restored Victorian steamship and discover the fascinating story of one of Britain's greatest engineering achievements before continuing to the Cadbury House Hotel for dinner and our overnight stay.
Sunday
After breakfast we continue into Cornwall, calling at the award-winning Bodmin Jail. Explore the atmospheric Victorian prison, uncover its fascinating history and experience the interactive exhibitions before continuing to the Esplanade Hotel, Newquay, where we spend the next five nights on a half-board basis.
Monday
Today we visit the picturesque harbour town of St Ives, renowned for its golden sandy beaches, narrow cobbled streets, independent boutiques and thriving art scene. Spend time exploring the charming harbour, browse the galleries or simply relax and soak up the wonderful coastal atmosphere.
Tuesday
Enjoy a visit to the spectacular Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of Britain's finest restored gardens. Wander through beautiful woodland walks, colourful gardens and the famous Jungle before rounding off your visit with a delicious traditional Cornish cream tea.
Wednesday
Following breakfast we travel to the attractive fishing port of Padstow, where we visit the fascinating National Lobster Hatchery to learn about the conservation of Cornwall's native lobster population. Later we enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Prideaux Place, an elegant Elizabethan manor house with beautiful interiors and stunning views over the Camel Estuary.
Thursday
A day of leisure today to relax in the hotel and make use of the leisure facilities - Leisure Facilities include: Enjoy a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, comfortable lounges with spectacular views over Fistral Beach, an in-house cinema and games room. If you fancy stretching your legs you can head out to explore Newquay or have a paddle on Fistral beach!
Friday
Leaving Cornwall behind, we journey into North Devon, visiting the beautiful RHS Garden Rosemoor. Explore the magnificent formal gardens, colourful borders and peaceful woodland before continuing to the Royal & Fortescue Hotel in Barnstaple for a two-night stay.
Saturday
This morning we travel through Exmoor National Park to the delightful twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth. Enjoy time to explore these charming resorts, connected by the famous cliff railway, with stunning coastal scenery and independent shops. We return to Barnstaple in the afternoon, where the remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the town at your own pace.
Sunday 16th
After breakfast we leave North Devon and begin our journey back to Leeds, arriving home during the evening with many wonderful memories of our South West holiday.
